Hi, I’m Harasees — The girl behind that Growing Girl and Welcome!

Okay, girl, get comfortable. Grab your coffee, your matcha, or your third glass of water because you’re finally trying to stay hydrated, because I want to actually tell you why this space exists.
It was 2 a.m. Not a cute, aesthetic, “I’m journaling by candlelight” 2 a.m. — more of a lying-in-bed-staring-at-the-ceiling-overthinking-my-entire-existence kind of 2 a.m. You know the one.
Somewhere in that spiral, a thought hit different: I already had everything inside me to become who I wanted to be. I was just… waiting. Waiting for someone else to confirm it first. A text back. A compliment. A sign from the universe. Some official permission slip that said, “Yes, Harasees, you may now begin, and everything will work out perfectly.”
Spoiler — that slip never showed up.
Because honestly? I’m a professional overthinker. Give me a two-minute decision, and I’ll turn it into a two-week debate, complete with a full emergency board meeting in my head over something that, in hindsight, was never that deep. I’ve got big dreams and an even bigger to-do list, with about seventeen versions of my future playing on loop in the background at all times. I want success, discipline, financial independence — but also peace, softness, a life that doesn’t feel like one long series of deadlines. I never agreed to choose between being ambitious and being calm. Still haven’t.
Then three years ago, I moved to Canada, which meant rebuilding basically everything from scratch — my routines, my confidence, my whole sense of who I was outside the life I’d always known.
A little more about me — I live in Vancouver, and honestly, it’s become home in a way I didn’t expect. I’m a dog person through and through (if you ever want to send me pictures of your dog, I will drop everything). Coffee is basically a personality trait at this point, and travel is what resets my brain when everything feels like too much. But here’s something I don’t say enough: I don’t really have friends right now. I’ve made real friendships before, ones that meant something at the time, and somehow they just didn’t last. I’m not saying that for sympathy — I’m saying it because I think a lot of us are quietly dealing with the same thing, and pretending we’re not.

So here I am — building That Growing Girl while working full-time, teaching myself content creation as I go, with no unlimited time, no perfect routine, and definitely no endless well of motivation. Some days I feel unstoppable. Other days, my biggest win is finishing one task without opening five random tabs. Either way, I keep coming back to it.
I don’t have it all figured out, and I’m not here pretending to be some perfectly healed life coach. I’m in it, right alongside you — learning, trying, occasionally spiraling, working on the exact same habits I write about. So this isn’t me talking down from a pedestal. It’s me sitting next to you, going, okay, let’s figure this out together. Mess and all.
Why This Space Exists
I’m on a mission to build a safe space for people who genuinely want to grow — and glow — without feeling like they need to transform their entire life by Monday.
Because real growth is rarely dramatic. Most of the time, it’s quiet. It’s showing up for yourself on some totally ordinary Tuesday, when nobody’s watching, and nothing’s making you.
This is for the girls with big dreams and equally big to-do lists. The overthinkers, the deep feelers, the ones who’d take one real conversation at midnight over ten small-talk ones in daylight. It’s for anyone tired — genuinely tired — of waiting for someone else’s permission before they let themselves begin, or change direction, or start over.
What We’re Talking About Here?
- Self Growth — the honest, unglamorous work of getting better. Discipline, confidence, routines that fit your real life, habits built on self-respect instead of guilt.
- Mindset — because our thoughts run more of our lives than we like to admit. Overthinking (hi, that’s me), comparison, and the quiet stories we keep telling ourselves that keep us stuck.
- Inner Growth — the deeper stuff. Self-worth, healing, identity, and learning not to abandon yourself while chasing everyone else’s approval.
- Self Care — the realistic kind, not the Pinterest-perfect kind. The kind that actually survives a busy, slightly chaotic week.
Here’s the Truth
I used to think I needed my whole life together — or some big, impressive success story — before I’d earned the right to talk about growth. I told myself I just didn’t have enough to share.
But here’s what I’ve learned: your voice doesn’t become valuable once you’ve “arrived” somewhere. It becomes valuable the second you’re honest about where you actually are.
So that’s what I’m doing. Showing up honest, unfinished, and a little too obsessed with deep conversations — hoping you’ll do the same.

If you’re tired of waiting for permission and ready to begin, even messily, even uncertainly, you’re exactly who this was made for.
I’m so glad you’re here. This is our space now.
With love (and probably too much coffee),
Harasees
